Networking

Networking provides UCLANET and Internet connection for desktop, laptop, or other network-capable devices.

Wired Networking

• Activating or moving a wired network jack
• Help troubleshooting an existing wired network connection
• Installing a new wired network for Ethernet where there is none available.

Wireless Networking

• Installing and configuring access points
• Help troubleshooting an existing wired network connection

The wireless service is based on the 802.11a, 802.11g and 802.11n and is available in many campus buildings. Coverage is available in all residential halls. Faculty and staff are encouraged to eduroam.
