Server Administration and Storage
Server Administration consists of activities, strategies, and tools associated with the setup of servers, monitoring server performance, and managing security, patch deployment, and file shares.
Activities include:
- Support the OS, OS utilities, and system management software
- Support and maintenance of anti-malware tools to protect system integrity
- Evaluate, test, and deploy patches to server platforms
- Monitor server performance and ensure availability
- Create, manage, and maintain printer queues
- Setup, build, and configure servers
